Abstract 3D Animation Loop Using Modifiers In Blender

In this beginner animation tutorial you will learn how to recreate this abstract space creature animation in Blender 2.82. I call it the Cosmic Porcupine and it loops seamlessly.

Most of the work is done using modifiers and you will learn some interesting techniques along the way such as displacement animation and node key framing.

The end result will be a really cool abstract animation that seamlessly loops and looks awesome!

The programme I am using to create this 3D effect is called Blender and you can download it for free here:

https://www.blender.org/

I will be showing some basic techniques which you can then use for future animations, the goal is for you to experiment from what you’ve learnt rather than just copy. 🙂

These techniques are relatively simple and should help any beginner who is learning the basics of Blender animation.
